Gaming Quick Hits: 12/30 – 1/6

Here’s this week’s stories that weren’t big enough for their own story, but you’ll need to know anyhow:

– Microsoft has confirmed that it’s motion sensing camera, Project Natal will ship this Holiday season. No further info as far as pricing, availability or even a name (remember; Natal is just a code name) were given — but at least we’re getting closer.  Oh, and Nintendo also confirmed that the long awaited Zelda console game will indeed be released this year.

– During a video chat with news site “Making of” producer Wyck Godfrey (Twilight) confirmed that he’s involved with the upcoming Gears of War movie adaptation. Wyck actually had a lot to say about the project. You can read it here.

-Official Xbox Magazine UK reports that the next Call of Duty game could be set in Vietnam.

-American’s hoping to get the Heavy rain Collector’s Edition are going to have to import it. Sony confirmed this week that it’ll only be sold in the UK.

– A promotional box has surfaced for Halo Reach which points to the game hitting shelves September 24 2010.

– Microsoft revealed the Xbox Game room for use on the Xbox Live Service.  GamePro’s got the story and a video..and they link to a story a certain…ahem…someone wrote for them months ago…
