Anyone who knows me well has undoubtedly witnessed me waste a ridiculous amount of time pretending to use the nifty computer that Tom Cruise and company have in Minority Report. Seriously, I’ve probably wasted hours. Apparently a company named Oblong Industries made a huge statement with a live demo they did at TED 2010 of a system that works like the one in the movie. The video below shows a previous demonstration of what they’re calling the g-speak, and IT IS AWESOME. Check it out.
